I once had a chance to test Mizuno JPX 800 clubs when it just came. Mizuno advised me that the JPX-800 irons were best suited for players in the 8 to 30 handicap range I love the feel of Mizuno JPX 800 Irons - so much so that despite being custom fit by Nike I'm still tempted constantly to go back and play my set of Mizuno MP-57's.
The Mizuno JPX 800 delivers unbelievable distance and forgiveness in our longest game-improvement iron. We combined our innovative Max COR technology, an ultrathin Hot Metal face and an exotic pocket cavity to provide the extra yards you've been searching for. You're going to be at least a club longer."
"With the perfect balance of forgiveness, distance and feel, the JPX 800 Irons features the highest COR ever in a Mizuno one-piece Grain Flow Forged iron. A large cavity is created using a CNC milling process that thins the face to raise ball speeds for maximum distance and optimizes a low, deep center of gravity for increased forgiveness."
I shot my best round of my life summer 11 using Cheap JPX 800, 74. After that, I got to thinking maybe I was ready for forged JPX-800 PROs. I did buy some. Sweet, pure, butter is accurate when flushed. For a while, I was hitting these very well. Then I hit a slump, and my shot making went downhill. Eventually, I settled on a combo set, using JPX-800 PROs on the short end for feel, accuracy, and standard JPX-800 on the long end for maximum forgiveness.
In a word, the clubs are worthy to obtaining The forgiveness and power of these clubs is just awesome. I'm a shot maker with them as well, working cuts around trees, hooking the ball low sometimes when needed. I know, Mizuno MP-68, the new ones enjoy the popularity as well, I think I should have try and review.
