Mizuno MP-53 Irons to bring you what kind of feeling

This article presents the factors you should consider when selecting the right golf clubs for you. In order to be able to select a golf club first you need to know what each part of the club does.Certain people find different kinds of shafts more comfortable than others. When you find the shaft you like you will see what I mean.

The Mizuno MP 53 Irons claim to offer more forgiveness from a compact head and we would have to agree. The clever 360 degree grind makes the top line and sole appear smaller than it actually is and this enables Mizuno to increase the forgiveness whilst maintaining the appearance we have come to expect from the better player MP irons. The head size to be similar to the JPX-800 Pro iron but the thinner top line and reduced offset looked much better with the MP-53 iron.

The diamond muscle design on the back of the head did increase the sweet spot about 1cm in each direction to make it bigger than the MP-52 iron it replaces and even the MX-300, making the MP-53 irons are much more forgiving than any MP iron we had tried before. The cavity in the long and mid irons may not appeal to all, but it is well hidden at address and is closed on the shorter irons so all you see is the better playing iron.

Mizuno have also worked hard on the sound feedback and this is very good as always. The Mizuno MP 53lofts are the same as the MP-52 in the 3-5 irons and one degree stronger from 6-iron to PW. The grooves on the face conform to the 2010 condition of competition regulations. The trajectory was good and a bit lower than the JPX-800 Pro and the workability was better too so we think this is an ideal set for low to medium single figure golfers who want looks, performance and forgiveness.

The MP-53 features a 360 degree grind that lessens the width of the sole and top edge while the shorter irons feature a design similar to the Mizuno MP-63 Irons to ensure that they offer complete precision and control.

The Mizuno MP-53 iron is Grain Flow Forged and features modified U-grooves that conform with the 2010 Condition of Competition rule.
