Cleveland CG17 Wedge-Japan New boy

Cleveland Japan introduces the New 2012 Cleveland CG17 Wedge.It features a traditional Cleveland head design, know for its pure shape and clean looks. It has a slightly taller heel area of the face than previous Cleveland wedges for added confidence and a wider hitting area. It also feature a new laser milled wave pattern face which is also 1.5mm wider than previous milling patterns. This wide size and wave pattern allows more of the ball to make contact with the ball from a variety of lies, making the head produce a very consistent amount of spin and a solid feel on a larger percentage of your shots. It also has the patented Cleveland Zip Grooves, where the edges of the grooves are made smoother and rounder than other wedge faces, making it easier for Cleveland CG17 Wedge moisture and dirt to flow off of the face for a consistent amount of spin every time.

The sole has a Classic Cleveland grind. The toe and heel regions are rounded and smoothed for versatility. This design allows the clubface to be opened to any degree while keeping the overall balance very stable.
