Burner SuperFast 2.0 DriverFairway Wood - Combining Speed, Power, and DistanceFeaturing a new SuperFast technology package, theTaylorMade Burner SuperFast 2.0 fairway wood from TaylorMade has a longer shaft, lighter overall weight, and a low-drag aerodynamic design which results in faster swing speeds and more distance. It features a stainless steel had with a deep, low center of gravity for improved launch angles. The flat-white finish reduces glare and contrasts against the black face, resulting in easier alignment. At 460cc, theR11 TP Fairway Woodis similar to the originalTaylorMade R11 TP Fairway Wood, the newTaylorMade R11 TP Fairway features a flat-white crown color and black PVD face to improve alignment and accuracy off the tee. TMAG says the white crown color makes it appear even larger (2%) and adds an advantage given that TaylorMade testing indicates that the majority of golfers gain confidence at address from a head that appears large relative to the ball. I do, however, recognize that some golfers really like adjustable drivers. It just seems to me that there are an awful lot of things to fiddle with on the TaylorMade R11S driver - you can adjust the hosel sleeve, the moveable weight cartridges, and the sole plate. How in the world does anyone get all those different adjustments "right?" I'd probably turn into a head case trying. I'd feel like I needed an owner's manual just to adjust my driver properly.
