In response, Mizuno's design team increased the JPX800's vertical MOI, alongside the standard extension from heel to toe. In sync with Mizuno's'Balanced Performance' philosophy, the JPX 800 Driver with a square clubface at address - relying on a complex internal weighting system for its straight, high flight. By analyzing thousands of fittings at its National Fitting Centres, Mizuno found that the square set-up best neutralised the amateur's most destructive shot the pull straight left.

The Mizuno JPX 800 Driver is one of a kind driver that has received plenty of appreciation from its reviewers. One reviewer thought that because of the lower spinning, many shots landed on the ground and rolled further than other golf drivers. Another reviewer found that the soft feel of Mizuno JPX-800 was great. Yet another reviewer tested the driver and found that even when he did not hit the center of the club, the ball travelled a good distance and was still close to the fairway.

I decided to go with a Taylormade Burner Superfast 2.0 TP Driver degree head shafted with the Fubuki Alpha 6X straight in.  No tipping and playing at 45.5 inches.  When the club arrived I noticed how well the white head and black face shadows the golf ball.  It is almost impossible to address the ball with the clubface not square.

Taylormade Burner Superfast 2.0 TP has a slighter larger face and weighs 5 grams less than the original SuperFast, for improved distance on off-center hits. It also features the largest face (4550 cubic mm) that Taylor Made has ever produced for additional forgiveness. The flat white crown reduces glare and allows for improved alignment, resulting in more accurate drives.
