TaylorMade R11 TP Driver is better than TaylorMade R11?

I'm a 14 handicap and one of my regular playing buddies is a 2, and he usually outdrives me by 30-40 yards, and a lot more when I get it off centre.
The R11 was given to me on Thursday morning in the locker room - I spent 5 minutes setting it up to what I thought I wanted and went out on the course at 8:10. By 12:30 we were in the clubhouse and talking about only one thing. Me - Mr Fade - hitting long slight draws, and being up alongside my 2 handicap buddy most of the time.

Admittedly I have given in to old age and gone with the Regular shaft, probably more suited to my now creaky swing, but for me, and that's all I can talk about, the shaft and the head work very well together. A bit ironic that there is a regular shaft called a Blur! While putting the clubs in the car i noticed something wrong with the club and realised Pete had swapped my R11 for his Diablo. "It's still the same club" he quipped. "I just changed the shaft and the head for you".  Excellent club. Money well spent.

Building off of the massive success of the R9 Driver, and TM Ghost Putters, the TaylorMade R11 TP driver brings new technology, innovation, and aesthetics to the proud line of TaylorMade drivers. With it's distinctive white crown and black face, the R11 is one of the easiest drivers to align at address ever, while massive technological features ensure the proper fit for every golfer, allowing you to maximize distance through proper loft, face angle, and flight path customization. Activate the three dimensions to distance with the R11 Driver only $229.99 at our website.

This club is a must have if you have been working on your game and wonder if there is something not right with your current driver. This club is the complete package of playability, distance and consistency. Taylor Made has done it again!!!I hit a friend fo mine's R-11 driver and it had a very solid feel and the ball carried 50 yds further than my nornal drives. The dirver I received has a very loud sound when hit, much like a baseball hitting a metal bat.
